Part 1- The lens



The first step was to install the new lens. It will be needed to determine the position of infinity focus.
The hole for the lens had to be opened up a little more than 1/8 inch. The lip of metal on the back of the lens standard had to be removed, so that the retaining ring could be used. The lens came from a Polaroid 110A. It's a 127mm, with a shutter that goes to 1/300 second.I got lucky. I found the 110A in a junk shop for only $3.00.
Be sure the lens sits perfectly flat on the lens standard when the retaining ring is tightened.
